Music Therapy & Wellness

Customized music listening experiences tailored to help reduce your feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression

  • Do you battle emotional roadblocks that prevent you from meeting your goals?
  • Do you wish you could feel peace, joy, and enthusiasm more often?

Music therapy can be used to support and improve
your mental health and emotional well-being.

“My goals of relaxation, easing into sleep, and having more energy were all met. Within one week I was able to enter into a relaxed state and drift quickly into a sound sleep at night. With better rest, my energy improved. I also found my overall mood lighter. I could be found singing, humming, dancing, and even running. My daughter commented on my increased playfulness. I knew then that I had reached my desired goals.” – J.C.

We use The Music Medicine™ protocol which was designed by music therapist Judith Pinkerton, LPMT, MT-BC. As part of your music therapy sessions, we will identify music specifically intended to match target mood states to help you experience emotional expression and release.

The Music Medicine™ protocol has been used to help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as increase emotional fluidity and an overall sense of well-being.

As part of The Music Medicine™ program, the music therapist will create a customized listening protocol tailored to your goals and needs. This protocol is then implemented on a daily basis, with the music therapist being available for additional support between sessions.
